Delete your account

You can delete your Bastah account anytime. Deletion is permanent and can't be undone.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Bastah and go to "Account".
  2. Tap "Personal info".
  3. Scroll down and tap "Delete account permanently", then "Continue".
  4. Type the word "DELETE" to confirm, then tap "Delete my account permanently".

Without the app (by email)

If you can't open the app, email us at [email protected] from the same address you signed up with, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll make sure the account is yours, complete the request within 14 days, and send you a confirmation.

Send the deletion email

What gets deleted

  • Your sign-in account and email
  • Your name, photo, city and phone number
  • Your addresses, favorites, notifications and settings
  • Your stores and products (they disappear for everyone)

What stays, and why

  • Your messages and reviews stay with the other person, but under the name "Deleted user" and with no information about you, so chats and reviews still make sense.
  • Reports and support chats are kept for 3 years, and the Bastah team's decision log for 5 years, for safety and legal obligations.
